Siren systems provide customer s with another dimension of alert, typically installed to bring awareness to a swimming pool emergency.

The siren systems provided by  Raecom are individually programmed with individual panic alarm buttons. This allows customers to choose which buttons activate the siren.

Users have the option of installing a siren or a beacon sounder, available in various colours, dependant on whether the user requires audio or audio/visual presentation.  

The RBS16 and the RS16 units act as a separate alarm system. The device is self sufficient, and does not require any communication from the central alarm panel - providing a back up system should it be required.

General Operation;

When any programmed alarm is activated the siren systems built in radio receiver will acknowledge the activation, triggering the siren. Users have the option of manually resetting the sounder via the built in reset button, or can request the unit be set with a timer, a dedicated period of time the siren will activate before it resets itself.

This is often useful to centres who wish to deal with an emergency rather than worrying about resetting an alarm panel. The device can be applied to various requirements, not just as a pool alarm indicator. The device is suited as a small alert system for one or two areas, where visual representation are not required.

External ‘Master Blaster’

How it works…

1. An incident has taken place in the main swimming pool, the life guard requires urgent assistance.
2. He presses the  Drown alarm attached to his chair.
3. Once pressed a signal is sent activating the pool siren alerting other near by.
4. T the same time, the main control panel sounds, alerting reception who see an emergency situation has occurred on poolside.
5. They contact  via radio and put out an announcement to staff who immediately go to poolside to help.
6. The appropriate first aid is completed, and the system is ready to be reset.
7. The DM enters his code or presents his tag and all components are reset.
